The Not-So-Fine Print
(A.K.A. How We Keep Things Smooth for Everyone)
1. Appointments Are Sacred
Your time is valuable, and so is ours! We work hard to keep everything running on schedule, so here’s how it works:
• Arrive on Time: Fashionably late isn’t cute when it comes to waxing. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean we need to reschedule, and we hate doing that!
• New Clients: Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out a quick form. We promise it’s painless!
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens—we get it! But we ask for a little heads-up:
• Give Us 24 Hours: Need to cancel or reschedule? No problem—just let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
• Last-Minute Changes: Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will incur a fee (usually 50% of the service cost). It’s not personal; it’s just business.
3. No Call, No Show = No Fun
If you ghost us without a call or email, we might have to charge you the full price of your service. Nobody likes being stood up, and our waxing table is no exception.
4. Payment Policies
• We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. No bartering—smooth skin is priceless, but we still have bills to pay.
• Gratuities are always appreciated but never required (though your esthetician might do a happy dance if you do).
5. Age Policy
• We welcome clients of all ages, but anyone under 18 must have parental consent.
• Parents, if your teen wants to start waxing, we’re here to make the process comfortable and professional.
6. Hygiene Is Non-Negotiable
Please arrive clean and ready for your appointment. We love you, but we’re not here to give showers. A quick rinse before your visit is always appreciated—especially for those more intimate services.
7. We’re an Inclusive Spa
Everyone is welcome at Lily Pad Spa—regardless of gender, orientation, or background. We wax all humans, no judgment!
8. Allergies & Sensitivities
If you have any allergies, medical conditions, or skin sensitivities, please let us know beforehand. We use high-quality, eco-friendly wax, but we want to ensure your experience is as smooth as possible—literally and figuratively.
9. Health & Safety First
• If you have a sunburn, open wounds, or any skin condition in the treatment area, please reschedule. Waxing over irritated skin isn’t fun for anyone.
• Feeling under the weather? Rest up and come back when you’re feeling better.
10. No Funny Business
Our spa is a professional, judgment-free zone. Inappropriate behavior or comments will result in the immediate termination of your appointment. Let’s keep it classy, folks.
11. Pets Stay Home
As much as we’d love to meet your furry friends, our spa isn’t the place for them. Service animals are, of course, welcome.
12. Refunds
All sales are final, but your satisfaction is our top priority. If you’re not happy, let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it right!
13. Booking Confirms Agreement
When you book an appointment with us, it means you agree to these policies. Think of it as the pinky swear of the waxing world!
